AIG Travel Guard Silver
AIG Travel Guard Silver is best suited for families. This program can have additional family members under the age of 17 added to the policy for no additional premium, alongside each adult listed on the policy.
The Travel Guard Silver plan will provide coverage in the off chance a unforeseen emergency takes place during travel. Moreover, the Travel Guard Silver affords protection for other potential mishaps. This includes potential delays & missed connections, travel delays, and coverage for baggage and personal items. Travel Guard Basic will cover lost or damaged baggage up to the plan limits to assist you in replacing items that were lost along with the baggage. Moreover, if your travel is delayed due to a reason covered by the insurance, you will be reimbursed for accomodations. Travel Guard Silver includes an additional pre-existing condition exclusion waiver. If you are traveling with an illness, or are purchasing this insurance for someone who has a pre-existing conditions, this policy will cover in case of a medical event arising due to said pre-existing conditions. All AIG Travel Guard Plans include 24-hour emergency travel assistance which can be reached to assist you with emergency medical needs, flight & hotel re-bookings, and other services. |

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS This plan does not cover any loss caused by or resulting from:
Claims
Notice of Claim: The Insured must call Travel Guard as soon as reasonably possible, and be prepared to describe the Loss, the name of the company that arranged the Trip (i.e., tour operator, Cruise line, or charter operator), the Trip dates, purchase date and the amount that the Insured paid. Travel Guard will fill in the claim form and forward it to the Insured for his or her review and signature. The completed form should be returned to Travel Guard, PO Box 47, Stevens Point, WI 54481 (telephone 1.800.826.1300). All claims will be administered by AIG Claims Inc., in those states where it is licensed. |
rEFUND POLICY
FIFTEEN DAY LOOK: You may cancel this insurance by giving the Company or the agent written notice within the first to occur of the following: (a) 15 days from the Effective Date of your insurance; or (b) your Scheduled Departure Date. If you do this, the Company will refund your premium paid provided no insured has filed a claim under this Policy.
